No, chiropody services are not covered by OHIP. Chiropody is a privately funded healthcare service in Ontario, which means patients are responsible for the cost of their visit. Many people use extended health benefits, workplace insurance, or private health plans to help cover their treatment. Coverage varies by insurer, so it’s always a good idea to check your plan for details.
It depends on your insurance company. Some plans allow direct billing for chiropody services, while others require patients to submit their own claims. Even if your insurer doesn’t support direct billing, we can always help with claim submission by providing detailed receipts and guidance to make the process as smooth as possible.
We have 2 locations. We are in Ancaster and Hamilton.

Yes, our clinics provide custom-made orthotics,(https://www.myfootclinic.ca/custom-made-orthotics) and every pair is crafted in our in-house orthotic lab. This allows us to control the entire process from assessment to fabrication, ensuring precision, quality, and a perfect fit. Because we make orthotics in‑house, adjustments can be completed quickly, and patients receive devices tailored exactly to their foot mechanics and treatment needs.
Our clinics accept all major payment methods except American Express. You’re welcome to pay using Visa, Mastercard, debit, or cash. We provide detailed receipts for easy claim submission.
